Tips for Online Meetings

 

  • In most cases you can connect with the virtual platform that is being used with your phone, iPad or computer.


  • Always join with the microphone on your device on mute.


  • Always join with your camera off.


  • Turn on microphone when prompted or to announce yourself.


  • Turn on camera when prompted or when you desire to do so.


  • Be encouraged, you may need to try more than once to get “connected”.


  • Join about five minutes early to check your connection, microphone, etc.


  • Participants have reported that if you join too early you will be placed on hold and in some cases if the hold is too long you will be disconnected and you will need to rejoin.


  • Bible study is interactive, please follow the directives of the pastor as to when to mute or unmute you microphone.


  • Please share tips, as we learn together, that may be helpful to others.
